RUSH LIMBAUGH'S TREATMENT FOR AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE MAY BE THE CULPRIT

We used to laugh when doctors went on strike and the death rate at hospitals went down.  Be careful fellow citizens for what you ask when you demand health care: you might get it in spades. If a disease doesn't get you, medication's side-effects might.

A snide reporter asks Rush if he is on pain medication.  Rush laughed and said, "No, Prednisone."  A quick check on prednisone's side-effects suggest that the medication could cause heart failure.  This is the dirty little secret about many helpful drugs' side-effects.

Rush reportedly suffers from an autoimmune disorder. Autoimmune diseases's effects are difficult to control and each day is a challenge. I know this first hand.

To Rush:

You take as good as you give, without making much ado about your disability. It is the people, not you, who have made a fuss about your illness.  I am sure you would have loved to have had complete privacy while transiting these shoals. Too bad. 

It is good for those, who have "high adult" in their personality profile to learn to let people fuss over them a little.  Believe me I have profiled you and you have a sizeable amount of adult to guide you.  That is why you stand apart from most. As you said, this has been a blessing. You have been duely babied now get on with work.

I am betting that you need to discuss the side-effects of  the medication, which is being used by your doctors to control a serious autoimmune response, one that several years ago took your hearing.  I have placed you, as irascible as you are, in our Holy Mother's hands.  She'll know what to do with you. This American prayed for you as did many.
