REVOLUTION IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not."  Jn 1:10

And What Are We to Think?

"Further, the person who does not become irate when he has cause to be, sins. For an unreasonable patience is the hotbed of many vices: it fosters negligence, and stimulates not only the wicked, but above all the good, to do wrong." - St. John Chrysostom

Bishop Fellay of the SSPX have you seen these videos?

As American (True) Catholics lament their fifty-year journey in the desert, a ray of hope from revolutionary [once Catholic] France.

Few in America can speak French. Nonetheless, as you watch these YouTube videos, try to piece together the essential difficulties that caused the parishioners of de Thiberville to erupt in anger.

You can look at the events several ways. Let's look at two:

  • The parishoners were disrespectful to the Bishop - shame!
  • The parishioners were not about to have the Bishop mock God - Bless them!
This (True) Catholic  holds to the latter one.  Viva Cristo Rey!  Viva parishioners de Thiberville, grateful good wishes from the United States.

Note: go to Youtube for translations of viewer's commentary.  You can see how well you interpreted the events.

  1. Yes, I agree with the latter depiction of the events, "The parishioners were not about to have the Bishop mock God - Bless them!". Bless them indeed. Your observation is spot on. Thanks for the ever vigilant watchful eye.
